Here are some of my recent sketches, all completed in the field in a hardbacked sketchbook 210mm x 297mm, in pencil and watercolour.

I have been to the Western Isles Scotland twice this year and have been sketching Otters on sea lochs, rivers and lakes back home in Northumberland .These enigmatic animals provide endless opportunities for painting and print ideas.I will be working on many of these sketches in the studio this winter.
